The simplest way to start is a brief conversation.

Tell me a little about the student — year group, exam board if they have one, what’s working and what isn’t — and I will get back to you within 24 hours.

There is no obligation and no charge for the initial call.

If we go forward together, the first lesson is usually within the week.

A note on the first conversation

  • I do not take on every student who enquires.
  • Mathematics tuition only works if the chemistry between tutor and student is right, and if the student wants to be there.
  • The initial call is partly so I can answer your questions, and partly so we can both decide whether we are the right fit.
  • I would rather refer a student elsewhere than take them on without that confidence on both sides.
